''Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives;
he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.''
Matthew 7: 7-8
To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.
Yet prayer remains a mystery,
an unknown quantity to many people.
Few Christian doubt that, on occasion,
people do have their prayers answered.
Ask people at random
if they have either prayed a prayer that was answered
or have known somebody who had a prayer answered,
and the majority will answer yes.
Yet many think of prayer in the same way
as they think of putting a coin in a slot machine.
It doesn't cost much; and u just might hit the jackpot.
And also, there have someone who said
''maybe the Lord just doesn't hear me.''
A lot of misunderstanding arises from not knowing that
God doesn't answer prayer because we are good,
or not-so-good.
He answers prayer because of our relationship with him
-we r His children!-
It's that simple.
It's that simple.
Another misunderstanding,
Prayer is a means of getting things we want
like more money, a better result,
or getting people to do what we want
such as meeting a tall n handsome guy,
or getting someone to like us.
Prayer is not conquering God's reluctance,
but taking hold of God's willingness.
But most of the time
we are too proud or too filled with arrogance or doubt,
to bend our knees in prayer and say,
to bend our knees in prayer and say,
''God, I need Your help. I want Your will.''
such is a humbling experience,
but it's what it takes for your prayers
to reach the throne room of the Almighty.
God is far more willing to work in your life
than you are to have Him do so.
Therefore,
prayer is not overcoming His reluctance to do something
but your willingness to let Him.
hey , all my dear frenz , think of it !
